German cylinder manufacturer WEBER-HYDRAULIK GMBH places its faith in wenglor’s VisionSystem+ for image processing during assembly and inspection of hydraulic cylinders for trucks. A total of six cameras, all linked to a central processor, monitor several work and test steps for up to 58 different product variants of the low-profile cylinder. Various parts are inspected for out-of-roundness and presence, and are measured as well, during final assembly and monitoring.
